Jen has been designing & creating jewelry for over 40 years. She is a trained bench jeweler, graduate of the Fashion Institute of Technology with a jewelry design degree as well as a graduate of the Gemological Institute of America with degrees in colored stones and diamonds. She is the owner/ designer of zen jewelz by: ZenJen selling her handcrafted healing crystal jewelry and unique crystals. Zen jewelz is a luxury brand well known for sourcing rare high quality gemstones, using sterling silver detail and offering custom wrist sizing. Jen was featured on Real Housewives of NJ along with several other tv shows and now resides in Wantage, NJ where she and her husband have a home studio where they see clients and ship Jen’s creations all around the world.

In this course you will learn how to successfully make stretch bracelets & learn the following techniques

  • A special crimping technique developed by Jen to close the bracelets
  • How to properly size bracelets according to a custom wrist size
  • How to measure stone sizes using a millimeter gauge
  • Learn about different gauge wires for different applications
  • How to properly close jump rings to add charms to your bracelets

*There will be an opportunity to purchase supplies to start your stretch bracelet journey
**Fee includes class materials. You will be making a Hematite bracelet with gemstone accent beads finished off with sterling silver findings.
